Well here is a story of how DK was made...Is a story I would like to share with everyone ...


~Introduction~

It started when I came to KCVDS 1.14.I was a noob like everyone else.My brother helped me play and I became better because of him.He used to be member of this academy long time ago as well.Anyways,I was gonna quit KCVDS because I got tired of winning and winning.Till one day our own EX admin EJR used to be named "The Salsa" he was advertising version 1.15.I did not believe him,till he gave me the link.It actually worked.

~Version 1.15~

This was where my life in academies started.In my 1st duel I met someone who invited me to his academy.Forgot his name..Anyways,he owned this academy called "Speed World".Admins were "Jack Atlus",and "Yusei Fudo"(yes he is our Black Rose dorm leader currently).

Anyways,they tested me and after an embarrasing defeat.I lost and was ranked lowest rank "Satellites" known over there.I was active there for a long time.I wanted to rank up,but it was not easy.I got tired of losing in 1.15.I made a deck that was my "secret weapon"!!

Yes,that deck was my "Legendary Monarch Deck"!! I entered the tourney in Speed World to be King.(This is where i got the idea of "Duel King")
I won my way to the top where I got the crown.I was named King.
I was undefeated again after losing and losing in 1.15.

That is where my life began as a "true" duelist.In this academy is where I met "SilentHeroX" who was mod of that academy.We talked and found out that we were from same city,state,country.We had to duel for semi-finals.After a tough battle between my monarch deck and his Swordsmans(deck he used to run) I ended up the winner.

~Choosing The Academy Life~

After "Speed World" I was very interested in many academies and i wanted to join them ALL!! So,I did and was very active.That is where i met "EJR" again when i found out that he had his academy.I was tested and got "Ra: rank.I thought that sucked because I could of done better.Anyways,I promised to one day become admin.I went my way up to "Obby Bue" and then all my way up to Mod and then finally after many days I became "ADMIN!"

I stayed lowest rank in "Speed World" that is only because I wanted to prove everyone that it did not matter if you are in slifer or lowest rank you can still prove to the world that you are the best

Then I joined "Asters Academy"....it was the best academy ranked #1!
I must say I was very dissapointed.This is where I met "Itachi The Criminal" he was a tester and a tough one too.After our test he ranked me "Slifer"!!

~Talk Between Admins~

After long time of studying academies and knowing what they are about.I had a talk with my friend "SilentHeroX" .It was summer and no school meaning I was planning this idea of an academy that would be better than the rest!

We decided to make an academy.It would be called "DUEL KINGS ACADEMY"! Yes we made it on August 06,2008 at 9:01 AM!!

It was the 1st day of this academy.We met many people through hamachi.
We made it the best as months passed by.We made it better than Asters Academy,Better than "Duel Zone" and better than "Speed World"."Speed World" was later closed down because of staff issues.

We as admins made a promise to make it #1 no matter what and so we did.

Part 2!

Going back to flashbacks.When we made academy..we needed members of course.In hamachi I saw this old "noob" called "Jaden Yuki1" or as I used to know him as "dwadefan" in 1.14.It was funny when I met him.He claims i was his 1st duel.I was a noob myself.He was saying in the chat box that he had the god cards.I was all amazed and decided to accept his challenge.I pwned him and pwned him!! he kept asking for more and more duels!!


Well yea he became mod and admin in no time.Each day we got new members and a handful of them too! I am not even lying when i say DK was amazing.Is still is of course.I remember meeting all my freinds though forums and DK.

Soon enough I got into "EX" "Exiles" it was made by Headcase himself!
I et new people and started out as a normal member also my bro joined which was cool.I worked all my way up to the top till I was 2nd in command! I got the respect I wanted! Everyone in EX knew my skills and how my duels were.I had alot of fun there.I remember our duel vs LVL.Me vs ilodude.i had won and that was the 1st duel done too.I was happy that I won for my team!!

Soon DK became better and better almost every team mate in EX joined DK because they liked it.Yes of course SilentHeroX was in "EX" too
was fun...till I decided to leave before they could become "EXH" and I had left because I wanted a team of my own. "EX" is the reason why it motivated me to make my own team.

Duel Kings it is mostly because of them.Almost every member is in this forum.Also that is where I decided to join "BC" when I heard there was a tourney made by Aster Phoenix himself,missed it tho :/...too late I arrived

Anyways I met more people there too.Months passed and I missed the next two tourneys after that.Finally I entered Jigsaw's Tourney.Was fun because I ended up winning my duel vs Ace(Asif mahmud).Two great friends and a great duel! Of course my "Legendary Monarch Deck" helped me...

Too bad tourney got cancelled..Anyways,later I entered Noahs competition..as I like to called "Battle Citys Next Top Duelist" (BCNTD)!!
That is where i got my rep even higher,I got 4th place in a very big tourney.I am proud that I was behind great duelists.."PirateYoshi our current Underground King. Which he got 3rd place."Windsfury" which he is a great duelist and friend,and "Dart Dragoon" who was 1st..he is a good friend and awesome to talk to!

I still got prizes tho and got to be Judge for the remaining of the competition! I think people in BC saw the "Hidden Potential" I had.They wanted to join DK.I brought so much people in with my advertising and of course my staff and members helped too

Yeah I remember meeting you for the first time in SW because of a dome duel you have improved by a lot since then you surpassed me by far as a duelist. A lot of stuff has happened since then its about to be a year hope we can get a better month then that November in the near future and get that number one spot back like we promised we would on that day.

haha. mann i remember those Speed World days. i remember you were called good duelist and had an avatar with yugi in it lol. back in those days i was tripplestar10092 if you remember that but i didnt stay long cause i didnt quite know how forums worked ahaa. the first deck i ever made was used there and it is still my main one - my Fallen Hero deck and it has come a long wayy.

ahahaa. guess i just kinda told a short story of minee.

Wow incredible story dude. I'm really surprised that you where in Speed World Academy, so i guess that your 1 of the oldest kcvds players from this academy. Cogratz for that.
What can i say more....you've got talent dude....too adv so fast to the pro world...hmmm that's something

Did you mention that I met you in 1.14? You were the first person I dueled on kcvds. lol.

O yea I am going to make a section where is gonna say how I met Jadenyuki1 in 1.14 is funny xD you will see...

@Ryan-Yes we must be one of the oldest people here,but maybe not..

@Unkown-No I did not exxagerate or lie in my story.I know it sounds made up,but I have witnesses like Ryan that know most of my life in KCVDS.It is all true,and yes that "Legendary Monarch" (R.I.P.) xDD

As I got better I made better decks and left that deck behind.Also I called it that because Headcase gave it that name Also,the banlist kinda killed it so yea xDDD

Dude the Speed World days was the best time I have had in the dueling scene. I try and try to bring back SW but it doesn't quite work out. Just think everyone if it wasn't for SW then who knows DK would prolly not be here today. I wouldn't have met Kyosuke, SHX, and others. Well I would say that there is alot to think SW for. Most important though thank you for sharing this and making really good memories come back. It is really good for the DK members now to know exactly how this academy came to be. LOL.




We should try and bring back Speed World for a while. That would be really fun just to bring back old times before DK.
