This is absolutely interesting. I've always been suggesting more theory in KCVDS communities.
For the teachers' idea I don't think it is reasonable to get a teacher for every card/combo!
But I can see it in a more rational way (I guess so xD):
- An Academy needs a special staff for moderation/security/forum building + another staff witch will be the Teachers
- In an Academy every teacher will teach one subject (yeah subject!) depending on his skills and preferences.
- Suggested Subjects:
Duelling Classes:
* How To Get Started (basics)
* Cards (Types Of Effects, Spell Speeds etc)
* Phases (Mainly For The Standby Phase and The Damage Step)
* Combos (Lists And Analyse Of Well Known Ones)
* Understanding Metagame + General Gaming Culture
* Deck Building
* Side Decking (it is always neglected but it is really important in real life)
Special Classes:
* GFX Lessons (How To Create Something And NOT RIP IT!)
* Article Writing
Getting Teachers is the difficult part but if we ensure all this I am sure that all Students will get a high level and strong knowledge.
The Academy needs then more organization (actually all the academies I know are in pure chaos >_>).
If anyone needs help in a "Real Academy" reform/creation I am available and willing to help with all I got in GFX, Widgets, Ruling Sources, Software Comments + Finding etc... (technically this is my graduation year so don't expect much until summer xD).
