Bad news...

You can probably already see the site has been "hacked" once again and everything has been deleted. One of the admins, firestorm, has been hacked. Here's proof from the security page within the admin panel that he's been hacked for sure:

As you can see, Kira simply used the "Forgot my password" to get into his account.

I have banned firestorm's account, so firestorm feel free to create a new one. Just wanted to let you all know how this has happened again.

Admins will discuss what we will do next. Most likely we'll have to move to another forum, although the reason this has happened was because firestorm's password was probably easily guessed. In other words, it's barely a hacker, just someone who was nothing better to do. Although they're both the same thing...

ok so what's going to happen to those who's part of this forum, if we do move to another forum, will we have to re-test for everything and whatnot? just wondered...also, what about summerslam?

kira get a life why again when the admins were working to re-rise this academy he came again fro nowhere and killed everything

ok i know of several empty academies including 1 by henry -.- i spoke with him beat him up a ton in dueling till he agreed to make me an admin in his academy there are also some that ill discus with kyo and firestorm to see if its safe and kira dont even try i have 5 family members who can track u down easy and 3 are hackers who can just mess up ur pc in a mater of seconds.

I really didn't wanna come back in the forum in the state that is, but it cant be helped, and everyone in the future needs to take this into account.

Everyone, should stop making forums using forumotion.

Painfully obvious yes: It is far to easy to get into the admin control panels. There are many backdoors to abuse. Plus this is a free domain, so you dont control the server, nor the packets sent through it. You dont even control the site.

My suggestion, is to relocate to another domain, since its being planned already. ONe however that is not supported by forumotion. otherwise, this sort of thing will happen on a regular causing many problems. But thats just how I feel

it is true? and it is his acc or he hack 1random member?

2nd i see 3mails that was banned.1 of them was bulgarian mail and i think i know the owner.Its the same guy - The_One.Can he be Kira?

The_one , I'm pretty sure is the same as THELAST who , you guessed it, is probably KIRA =/. And what Reborn says is right. This happened before too and we just can't keep taking this bullshit. Like the saying goes "Fool me once , shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me."

Silent hero, theres always 1 way to recover a forum.

I know this'll be farfetched but i need access to root admin,
Aswell as i need forum root admin (first password upon forum creation)

This allows me to browse in a hidden backup file in the control panel, and i can reset the forum to a date before the hacking.

Next I'd have to remove admin position of everyone, hence brute forcing the root admin password can't really be done, but other admins are easy to get.

I suggest a period of 1month without other administrators to make sure the forum cools off and your forum would be entirely recovered.

At this point you have absolutely nothing to lose, so you could try it.

My forum has been hacked the same date and he deleted ALL the members of it including the sections, took me 1minute to recover everything.

I didn't like seeing my forum hacked, so i wouldn't do the same.

So think about it because i truely know what to do in this case.

P.S. I saw the forum got hacked on Jul 8th, but it was previously hacked aswell.
You should tell me the date of the FIRST hack so i can actually know what date to reset the forum to, that's of course if you decide to trust me.

Well, we can recover, but our root admin forgot the password and all the important stuff, and they fags in forumotions do not answer to the PM..

No forum powered by Forumotion is safe. That is even more painfuly obvious now more than ever. Rebirth; Start from sratch, and drop the current setups for the other academies and teams we have now. Starting everything over is clearly yhe only way to ensure this doesnt happen again. Like I said before, this would sttart happening on a regular, and look it already has.

Don't try taking advantage of the situation while we are in a the situation we are in :/.

And Kyo you don't have to keep metioning the fact that the pass was forgotten. Even if we did recover it he would have obviously hacked the place again somehow.

Just start anew. I'd be down with a new site and new everything. Hell, I'd be happy being a Red Archfiend again. Mostly because I'm busy with a lot of things and even if I was still a Royal Guard, I haven't been as active as I should be.

I already stated forumotion is safe, it's not their problem if you use pass "Yugioh" or something that is easily guessed. My password has 29 letters and I never got my forum hacked. No one can hack, they can just use cookie stealer, or hack your mailbox and then change the pass, and there is option to remove "I have forgotten my pass" for admins, so you're safe.
