Rules For testing(must Read)(new Rules)(Testers read)

Simo, that has nothing to do with this thread. This is for Testers, not arguing over who is more active.

Once we get more testers these rules will apply and hopefully make it easier for our testers to comunicate and talk about who/why they placed them in the dorm.

New Rules for Testers

1. Up to two testers can test one person if the first person that tested the testee isnt sure about his choice.

2. The same test rules still apply this is just rules/instructions testers should follow before giving someone a dorm/rank.

3. Pm an admin on here or ham to give new members there rank as soon as possible.

4. There should be at least one testers meeting per week ( best day is friday or the weekend) so yall can review what was done during the week.

5. Use a competitive deck(dose not have to be your main) dont run anything too weak we dont want anyone in the wrong dorms.

I want to emphasize this point. There have been more than a few times when a testee surprised me with "well, this was a fun deck" after losing. We are testing for competitive dueling skill! I test to win and explore your skill in various situations...and to win. Testees should play to win.

Yes agreed.I dont know if I have told every tester this,but Before I test someone I tell them the rules that is only 1 duel and tell them everything before we start and I also tell them to use on of their best.That way when they lose they wont complain saying that they lost because they used a fun or test deck Very Happy

guys if the testers must win every time with they re best deck then they will not find out the duelists skills , because the testers will block every movement of the duelists and the duel ends up with a great win of the tester.
(and for that he will not see any skill)

Syned, you can tell if a duelist has skills or is horrible at deckbuilding or a bad player because of how they choose to play things.

Actually, in some cases you can't. Like when I took my first test against itachi the criminal when i was a n00b. He used dark gaia otk and the only thing i had on the field was treeborn frog in defense mode.

Then in that case, as mentioned above, the Tester should not place someone into a dorm due to being unable to see what he or she can do, as posted by Yuugi. End of story.

It's very good news that rules 1 and 4 exist. The more testers work together the more accurate tests will become.

What are you going to do about people already in dorms? (lol sorry guys)
Don't you think, eventually, there should be some kind of retest? At least when it's feasible with the number of testers we have.

I am encouraging the entire staff to offer itself as testers to facilitate re-tests to the members, mainly because I think way too many have been misplaced.

There will be a re-test for everyone soon once we get more testers and everything is setled but for know it cant be done.

no you can use any deck and make sure it is your best one so the testers can see your full potential

Also testers do not use BURN decks on the person you are testing.It is like them using it on you it would not be fair.Do we all agree?
