so if his between 0 to 10 his is Hermos Crimson
so if he between 10 to 15 his Critias Grey
so if he is between 15 to 20 his is Timaeus Ceal

none can have more than 3/5 for the ruling except a Yugioh judge of a high level. For Strategies we can't get more than 4/5. LP is no problem, the way we play will be something related to the tester's attitude. I mean we need to make the tests more efficient, so I suggest (well, I am sorry guys xD) a theoretic test with the duel test.
I know this isn't fun but if we want an academy like the GX one this test will do the job. More than this, new members will feel that they need to learn some ruling and this is generally the most important weakness for a duellist. To prove that someone isn't a noob he can show that in an average ruling Quiz. It will focus on the rule book and not on really high levelled knowledge.
The test duel will be about combos and how the tested one duels, impresses and defends.
If you accept the theory tests I am sure this will be the first academy to do it and it will make the members really better.
I suggest Theory /10

ummmm, can u add a rulings test as well (like Evil Jaden's DA)
maybe just a couple of questions during the test duel
it's a cool idea to see if the new guy have some card rulings knowledge (at least basics) such as costs, chains, effects of several monsters, etc...
after all it's just a suggestion

About 90-95% of the people using the old system got into a dorm above what they should have -anyway-. I certainly approve.

To Simo: I think that's a good idea as well, but it would put some strain on Testers.

About Simo's idea Tsurin: Maybe all the testers could have a meeting one day and decide on maybe about 5-10 pre-set questions so when the duels come we already know what we're going to ask. A great idea made a whole lot easier!

Quisdadon, I can understand that idea perfectly, excepting for the fact that half the testers are inactive and the other half probably don't talk all that much. But it's entirely up to the Administrators. I think that's a great idea, if you ask me.

I think it's a great idea simo and Quasda , it's ok with me to meet with the rest of the testers if the time differnce isn't to big... maybe pm the questions to the testers who couldn't make it?

I have to say, things are finally starting to develop properly. For a while now, tests everywhere were rough and there was no real system. DK, as the #1 academy, is leading the way to professionalism. Everyone knew that the old testing system didn't REALLY put people in the right dorms, but now we're actually taking a step to change that.

The process of tester collaboration to create questions and/or decide collectively on what dorm the test subject goes to is really much more realistic and accurate than having one tester evaluate a duelist according to a rough system. Hopefully, a new more refined group of testers will help support the new system of testing. I am in every way supportive of this change, not that I have much say in it really.

besides the strictness though, perhaps for a better level of objectivity someone can get tested by two testers? then the scores are averaged so no one will "get lucky" with an "easy" tester or get "shafted" by a "hard grader".

At the same time, testers can talk with each other about why they rated so-and-so the way they did, leading to conformity and a more uniform standard of grading. For example, if one tester gave 1 and the other tester gave 5, some eyebrows should be raised and questions asked.

This would make sense if we had more than 4/9 testers active over past 24 hours.

Fully support that, though.
