Elemental Hero Stratos (Wind)
Level 4 [Warrior/Effect]

ATK/1800 DEF/300

When this card is normal summoned or special summoned,you can select and activate 1 of the following effects:
•Destroy Spell or Trap Cards on the field up to the number of other "Elemental Hero", "Destiny Hero", and "Evil Hero" monsters you control.
•Select and add 1 "Elemental Hero", "Destiny Hero", or "Evil Hero" monster from your deck to your hand.

You might think quite the unlikely hero, but not at all. When used correctly, Stratos can be used to search out many different Hero monsters that can change a duel in an instance, or summoned with other Hero monsters already on the field to destroy spells and traps.

Advantages:
-This card can be searched via "E - Emergency Call", "Kid Guard", "Elemental Hero Stratos"" and "Reinforcement of the Army".

-This card can also be summoned from your deck via Hero Signal.

-When this card would be destroyed by cards such as Smashing Ground, Fissure, Hammer Shot, etc. you can use Compulsory Evacuation Device to return it to your hand in order to re-use its effect, making your opponent go negative 1.

Disadvantages:

-If your opponent activates a "Pulling the Rug", Stratos' effects are negated and he is destroyed.

-After summoning Stratos, you must show your opponent the monster you add to your hand from his effect. This makes the monster added to your hand an easy target for cards such as "Mind Crush" and "Prohibition".

There's several different combos that can be used with Stratos to get an early advantage in a duel.

Combo 1)Cards Needed in Hand-Elemental Hero Stratos, Destiny Draw, and Crush Card Virus.

You summon Stratos. You search for Destiny Hero-Malicious and add him to your hand. Then, use Destiny Draw to discard Malicious and draw 2 cards. Next, you remove from play Malicious to special summon your other Malicious to your side of the field. Lastly, set your Crush Card Virus. During your opponents Draw Phase, you activate Crush Card Virus(tributing Malicious). Your opponent no longer has a monster with above 1500 attack which allows you to use Stratos as a beatstick for the next 3 turns.

Combo 2)Cards Needed in Hand-Destiny Draw, Destiny Hero Malicious, Monster Gate, and Monster Reborn. (Elemental Hero Stratos also needs to be in your grave and your deck has to consist of only "Elemental Hero", "Destiny Hero", and "Evil Hero" monsters.)

You begin by playing Destiny Draw and discarding Malicious. Next, you remove from play Malicious to special summon another Malicious from your deck. Then, you activate Monster Gate which will allow you to special summon one of your "Hero" monsters that can be normal summoned. Next, you activate Monster Re born and special summon Stratos from your grave which subsequently, allows you to destroy 2 of your opponents' spells and/or traps.

The deck I will be featuring here will be a Hero DAD deck. The deck's main focus is getting DAD on the field while using Heroes as support.

Deck is quite off.. Sadly. The specified hero support cards are bad.. Except for E-Call, and Skyscraper / SS2.

However, you nailed some of the important parts of the card, and made a good effort. Welcome to the team.

Now let me tell you where you went wrong on the deck.

-Prometheus? Unnecessary in 2s.. Only running 1 DAD.

-What's with Malicious Edge and Bladedge? Monarchs/Jinzo are a much better fit here.

-Missing Fearmonger? Fearmonger replaces your third mali - very essential.

-2 Defender without Monarchs and no Drain? No no no.

-2 Reckless? Only works in 3s.. With Mask. |:<

-2 D-Counter? Too specified.. not effective.

-RFTDD? Will very rarely be effective. I see it has synergy with Divine Sword and Prometheus.. But I honestly don't think it's gonna be worth running those cards if the only way they'll be effective is in conjunction with RFTDD.

-Way too many traps.. this is a form of DestinyDAD, therefore needs more spells for more speed.

-Divine sword PB? Nooooo equip cards.. nooo.. These only work in Ben Kei OTK X.x

Like I said...in hamachi.
You needed to talk about the card itself a little more.Also your deck has too many unecessary cards...basically bertha told you all you need to fix.

XD its a bad move to play on dp unless they have something in the field that you know will hit them or somethign in the hand that you are sure of will get crushed. I mean what if yu crush into a damn ladd...so seriously not on dp..

Yes, as Azaryn said -- only play CCV when it's absolutely necessary, or the monster you would tribute as about to be destroyed, or CCV is about to be destroyed. That way you can cause even more -s for your opponent.

stratos is one of my favorite monsters! the effect is so good.

it was kidna dumb when it first came out. you could just run 3 of them in your deck and use stratos to get another one hurrrrrrrrrrrrrr xD

really i thought when we got it, it already was limited to 1 we got it in the shonen jump mange thing right form what i know hmm could be wrong though

oh naw this was in Japan. They quickly realized how dumb it was to keep him at 3 so they limited it for here.

kinda funny how they always have to wait for the TCG players before correcting the banlist.
